A housewife from Ghoraghat Upazilla, Dinajpur named Sopna Rani (22) died of wrong treatment. The husband of the patient filed a case against two duty doctors.  On Friday ( 5TH March) in the morning Pintu Babu , husband of the patient and inhabitant from the same locality filed the case as a plaintiff.

The Ghoraghat Thana officer in Charge Mr. Azim Uddin assured the truth of the news. The case filed under the section 304 (a) due to the negligence of the patience- said the OC.

In the case the Dr. Nur Alam, the owner of the diagnostic center and Dr. Ali Akbar Khan were treated as the accused. Besides them, two or three persons unknown persons were treated as the accused.

Pintu Babu says that his wife died of wrong treatment. On the way to Rangpur, Thursday (4th March) the patient died.

In the complaint paper the plaintiff says that on Thursday at 3.45 pm he reached the diagnostic center for checking the patient. There Dr. Nur- E- Alam told them to go for the caesarean operation by doing Ultrasonography. Then they had to fill-up an official form. After  a while Mr. Pintu went to the nearby market keeping the patient in the sitting chair. While coming from the market, he saw that his wife been sent to the operation theatre.  Then Dr. Nur-E- Alam said that he was blessed with a baby girl and the condition of the patient was not good and she should take her to the Rangpur Medical Colege hospital. Then the patient was taking to Rangpur medical college by a micro-bus. They requested the doctors to give a nurse with them but they refused. Finally, in the evening on the way to Rangpur at Pirganj, Dhaperhat the microbus was out of order. And when the patient was taken to the  Pirganj health complex with another microbus, the duty doctors  told that she was no more on the earth.

The OC of the Ghoraghat Thana Nazim Uddin says, in the morning the Mr. Pintu Filed a case and after the investigation, we will take actions against the accused.
